Choosing the first blog for my list wasn’t difficult. It was either one the most widely read blogs in the world, or this one that to my mind is one of the best uses of the blogging i’ve come across.
The official blog of The Los Angeles Police Department is a simple and effective way for the LAPD to share information with the citizens. It’s got case updates, area specific reports, official perspectives, and even posts images of suspects caught on tape, so that visitors to the site can keep an eye out for them.
The blog also has regular Podcasts, recruitment announcements, and links to other official websites relevant to Los Angeles.
